What is Love...

So February is coming to an end! Because of Valentine's day to me February represents the month of love. So I hope this month was filled with lots of love for each and every one of you. So, what better time then now, to have a little conversation about love. I swear it won't be one of those sappy mushy conversations. But more of a sharing moment, as I give you an insight into my life and perspective.

Love is the most beautiful part of life. I know I'm already starting off mushy but it is! When you love something it is such an unexplainable feeling. The amount of joy that you gain from loving is out of this world. We often find ourselves doing anything for love. Craving that happiness that only love can create.

Being in love was one of the best moments that I have experienced so far in life. There's nothing like being around someone where you can both 100% be yourself unapologetically. When the feeling is mutual everything is intensified to a new level. Everything that each of you experience together, no matter how small or big, feels special for some reason. They become the person that you want to share all moments with, because being around them means that you're going to experience that level of happiness that is unmatched by anyone else. Thank you for making me happy... Thank you for all the unforgettable moments.

Your loved one will notice little things about you that no one else does, sometimes they notice things about you that you never even realized yourself. For instance I never noticed that when I get nervous I touch my hair, until they pointed it out to me. Thank you for paying attention to me me... Thank you for being attentive.

They tell you things that you need to hear, things that will make you a better person. Things that they can only say because you love them. Cause if anyone else was to say some of the things that they say, they might find themselves hanging off the side of a building. Thank you for your honesty... Thank you for pushing me to be better.

You go throughout life one way and then when this person enters your life they make you realize things that you never did. They discover a new part of yourself that you never even knew existed. Being in love will truly bring out the good, the bad, and the ugly. Leading you to uncover the different layers of yourself. Thank you for introducing me to new parts of myself... Thank you for helping me get to know myself better.

I felt love once upon a time. Despite what situations may have transpired during that time, that feeling of love was still amazing. Since then, I've nurtured the love in my family and friends. I also have found love in other hidden places. Love isn't always in the form of a person. I believe that the greatest love that you can have, is the love that you have for yourself.
